About
We’re the brother and sister duo (Mike and Bernadette) behind LakeHouse! For the past few years, we’ve loved welcoming you into our warm, relaxed restaurant and serving the comforting dishes we grew up with.
As times change and daily life becomes increasingly busy, we believe it’s essential to staying relevant and to evolve with our community. We have been listening carefully, and responding to what our guests truly need is, so we have decided that we’ll be introducing a thoughtfully curated way of welcoming you this year.
Here is what we are planning for 2026:
• DINE-IN SERVICE will take place on the FIRST AND LAST WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH, creating relaxed Hungarian weekends centred around our most loved dishes.
• Alongside this, we’re launching a NO-SUBSCRIPTION BUDGET FRIENDLY WEEKLY MEAL DELIVERY SERVICE, offering freshly cooked convenient comfort dishes each week - prepared by our long standing chef Zsuzsi - ready for your fridge or freezer to just pop in to your air fryer or microwave to heat and eat within minutes.
• We’ll also be introducing occasional EVENT STYLE OPENING DAYS, giving space to talented local chefs to showcase their beautiful creations in our kitchen and for you to discover even more flavours locally.
• In addition, LakeHouse will be available for PRIVATE HIRE and small celebrations, should you ever need a cozy restaurant setting for a special occasion.
Whether you join us for one of our intimate dine-in weekends, an event evening, or enjoy our food at home during the week, we look forward to continuing to cook for you with the same warmth and generosity.
We can’t wait to share even more Hungarian goodness with you, wherever and however you choose to enjoy it.
